2009 Race Committee Selections (Regular Season Series Races)

Hello BLSA racers of record for 2008.  Here is the info about committee duty for 2009.

First, thanks to everyone for responding to the request for choices for 2009 Committee Duty for the Season Series.  Amazingly everyone who requested specific dates got their FIRST CHOICE!  Two boats said they would either take any date (Bullship II, Walter Frank) or any except a few (Cut Throat, Dan Cajacob) and they deserve special thanks and recognition for helping make the process easier.

Remember, it is possible to swap a date with someone else on the list if something comes up on your selected day that makes it impossible for you to do committee duty; but, remember that you need to contact me about it in advance so the the racing program director will know what is going on and make sure we are covered for each race day.  Remember, your boat receives a DNC (did-not-compete) for your committee duty day, which can be used as a throw-out.  However, not showing up or not arranging a date swap in advance for your committee duty day is scored as a DSQ which can not be thrown out -- so please get in touch with me if a schedule problem springs up so we can try to work it out.
