Committee Duties for BLSA Series Races will be performed by the Top Finishers from the previous year. Dates will be selected, alternating between the J-24 fleet and the “P” Fleet. Order of choice is determined by order of finish. Picks will alternate until Committee Duty slots for all of the Series Race Dates have been filled. The J-24 Fleet picks first in even numbered years, the “P” Fleet picks first in odd numbered years.

Your Committee Duty will count as a DNC and can be counted as a throw-out. Your boat will not be scored on its day for performing Committee Duty.

Dates can be swapped with other members serving Committee Duty. All requests for changes must be made through the Race Director.

A DSQ will only be used if the boat performing Race Committee Duty is a “NO SHOW”. This DSQ cannot be used as a Throw out.
