Last weekend was our Mast Raising and social for May. The original plan was two separate events, but weather, and lack of spring rain pushed the mast raising back so they were combined. I did a terrible job taking pictures since I was preoccupied with raising my mast/launching the boat but thankfully some others took a few photos!
Today BLSA met for our first social event, and sock burning as is the tradition for the club. We had a decent turnout. Dan and Sara brought hot dogs, and others brought sides and snacks. Weather was brisk, but sunny making it a pleasant day to kick off the year.
BLSA will be passing these flyers out showcasing our simpler social event schedule that will hopefully make it easier for anyone to attend!
